POLISHED BRASS (PB)
Highly polished solid brass which is protected by an electrophoretically applied high performance clear lacquer. This lacquer is recognised as being vastly superior to the more conventional air drying and stoving lacquers, particularly with regard to adherence and durability.
In the USA this is finish code US3.

POLISHED BRASS - UNLACQUERED (PBUL)
Highly polished solid brass which is protected with a clear wax coating. This finish can either be regularly polished to retain it's brilliance or left to age gracefully as the brass oxidizes.
In the USA this is finish code US3A.
